Tonight I had a 10 minute guided meditation. It’s called “the magical color shower” and it is very beautiful, very calming. It offers you space to become present and bathe in divine white light. Tonight it offered me a complete let go of ego and mind-identification. To stop thinking about what I was experiencing (creating a memory of it, stepping out of consciousness and presence) and instead, simply Be in it. Surrender to it completely.
I really enjoy this meditation. During it, I am guided to visualize myself being showered in all the chakra colors, starting with the base-color (red) and working the way up. Though the speaker never mentions anything about chakras. However, I really enjoy chakra meditations. I feel that I am more connected to my chakras and I some times throughout the day stimulate them - either to open them up even more or close them a bit to create a balance within. A balance which allows Light to flow freely. Connected to both Universal energy and Earthliness.
I am very tired and soon I’ll go to sleep. Today I’ve had many strong negative emotions but tried hard to simply observe them. Become the watcher. Not identify with the emotions but to see them for what they are; a shadow of the ego. You may call it the pain-body.
About emotions and ego.. Yesterday during meditation, I saw people. So many people. And I saw all their emotions. The emotions created a big blur. Like a smothering fog, constantly distracting, keeping you in the unconscious. When I watched the emotions and the people without judgment, when I simply settled into the state of Being and accepted the emotions as part of what is, the blur began to melt away like ice cream in the sun. And what was left was the pure divinity of Lightbeings. I was looking at the true nature of all living things.
Under all those emotions, thoughts, labels; creations of mind, there is an ever-present Stillness of Being. It looks like white light and the brightness of it, the truth, the beauty.. it is astonishing. When you see it, you will know surrender.
Try to detach yourself from your mind, go beyond it. Maybe you will see for yourself what I saw yesterday. Below the surface, beyond the world of forms, we are all the same. White light. Divinity. God.
